No kidding! My stomach was growling as I was reading skillet cooked ground beef (just add a sprinkle of Lowery's). Then I got to the end of her post and realized I wasn't hungry anymore.

You know, this thread started out so promising (although I didn't read X's link).
There was talk of burgers and skillet cooked ground beef.
Now there have been two posts referencing Aunt Flo (ah, [censored], mine makes it three!).
Can we stay on topic and talk about happy things like meat?

The big meat recall landed mostly in our school. Just found that out before I left work. How long have they been serving that crud to our kids? I'm gonna tell her not to eat any meat at school anymore. I swear since reading these meat threads I get sick just thinking of meat. I don't know what to eat anymore.
the recall was from 3 years ago Patrice, so most, if not all has already been consumed - so schools back east are buying meat from California? hmph - have we no cows in the Midwest?

Can we stay on topic and talk about happy things like meat? OK, what sort of meal would Dip make? She's trim, but we could send her to one of those feed lots. Just curious, because we could have visitors some day, from another planet that think we look good for dinner, at least some of us.

Well, I surely hope you got to the store, for the sake of your dogs as I would not want to be one of them when you are really hungry with nothing to eat around the house. Have you ever eaten a dog, Dip? Cows are a lot like dogs. Come now, X... I wouldn't eat MY dog... I'm thinking about frying a steak tonight...maybe a medium-rare, salt and peppered, nicely marbled ribeye...so juicy it can't but send little pinkish rivlets of meat-juice down my chin. Would you like to join me for dinner, X?
