We merged with two other banks January 1, 2007. They were not HMDA reporters before we merged. Do they need to post the 2006 Summery Report in their bank lobbies or will they wait and post the one from 2007?

What Summary Report are you referring to? There is no requirement to post any HMDA data in any lobby, only the disclosure that the information is available and how and where to request the information.

Since your institutions merged in 2007, and if you, a HMDA reporter, are the survivor, then data collected by them in 2007 is optional reporting. Review Mergers and Acquisitions beginning on page 5 of the GIR.
