Here they come again!!!!

Driving to work in that wind this morning was an adventure. I'm hoping that the worst will be over in our area before I have to head north this afternoon. It could be worse. It could be tomorrow while I trying to get my 82 year old mother to the doctor's office.

Our forecast is that the storm will hit this morning but be on the east side of I75 by this afternoon. Hang on, Joker!

Is everybody ready again for another round of storms? Hopefully these won't be too bad.

It will probably hit here about the time I head home. Every time we have bad weather, my cable goes off which means no TV and no internet.

The skies have opened up here and the downpour is incredible. No thunder/lightening that I know if - yet any way.

We have satellite TV - storms = no tv. However our internet is through the phone lines so as long as they are OK, we're good to go on that one.

A lot of times the power will go off also. That's when I leave the house . . . can't read, can't watch TV, can't surf . . . Books a Million, here I come!

A few sprinkles here...I'm not complaining!

We had a couple of heavy showers but neither lasted too long. No thunder or lightening. No loss of power or cable - YEA!!!

Peachtree Center MARTA station is closed due to flying glass and debris from the continuing winds. One TV station reported that the downtown Westin Hotel "shifted" during the tornado. Structural engineers are evaluating the Westin Hotel damage.

I just wish all this weird weather would do more to alleviate the drought!

Now I WILL say, we had our share of high winds yesterday! An entire hotel shifted? Holy Cow!
