What is going on in LA and the surrounding areas in SC?
Everyday I am hearing about multiple gang shootings.
Are there not enough cops there?
That story about the high school football star was very sad.

I was watching a car chase in LA on CNN when I got home, the cops didn't even seem worked up from the chase when the guy finally gave himself up. I guess it's normal everyday out there.

Wow, I feel totally clueless...had no idea this stuff was getting so bad in LA. I guess SD is a little safe haven from it all.

I know where Baja California is - I live 20 minutes from Mexicali. I just wasn't sure what Bailey was referring to.
I think corruption and violence just South of the border is pretty common. We hear about it here all the time.

You know, a combination of his tax cuts for the ultra-wealthy, his spending on removing peaceloving dictators from Iraq, and desiring to wiretap terrorists without a warrant has finally resulted in the inevitable, rampant gang violence on the streets of LA.

The fastest growing gang is the LA Asians at 20,000 in LA County. 20,000! What a market! Why isn't somebody selling them an affinity payroll card or something?
