Can you take away overdraft protection without giving the customer 30 days notice or any kind of notice at all? When the ODP was set up they were given a disclosure that stated we could take it away at anytime. This is not a line of credit.
Thanks

The payment of overdrafts is purely discretionary. This guidance recommends notifying the consumer if you terminate or suspend the service, but there is no 30-day advance notice requirement.
