The USA Today/Gallup survey clearly explains why Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton (D-N.Y.) is losing. Asked whether the candidates were “honest and trustworthy,” Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) won with 67 percent, with Sen. Barack Obama (D-Ill.) right behind him at 63. Hillary scored only 44 percent, the lowest rating for any candidate for any attribute in the poll.

Claiming that she was shot at while on the ground at the airstrip is certainly a lie. The plane was shot at on its landing approach to the airstrip, but no one shot at her on the ground.

Hillary's politics, like Bill's, are made up on the spot to appease whoever they need to at the moment -- I don't think either Clinton has any personal convictions (either than that of their personal importance).

And Hillary is just a terrible human being.

All have taken some position or other that I favor.
All have taken some position or other that makes me think they don't really understand the issue at hand.
All have promised things they can't deliver, and *know* they can't deliver.
All have told some lie/exaggeration/whatever.
All have supporters willing to personally attack their rivals.

No clear good choice, just a bunch of trade-offs.

I vote in every election. I just don't have the clarity of blind partisanship to guide my hand. I have to make a calculated decision.

Does anyone else find it troubling that there are two people running against Obama? Has a former President ever so actively stumped for a candidate? Every day in Pennsylvania our news tells us where Bill appeared that day. He draws as many people as Hillary everywhere he goes.

The real troubling thing is that people say they will vote for Hillary because they liked Bill. After all that he has done, can't we agree that this is a marriage of convenience at this point. Do you really think that Hillary will go to Bill for advice on every issue. She is much too arrogant to defer to anyone, let alone the man that humiliated her so many times. Voting for Hillary and expected to get Bill II is a big mistake.
