If you use an automated OFAC match system which employs "fuzzy logic" like Bridger, at what percentage point do you tell your employees to escalate a possible match? I realize that our risk assessment drives each of us to different numbers, but I wondered what the "weighted average" would work out to be. I don't even care if you use one system for loans, one for wires and one for deposits. If you have two or three, are they the same across all or do they vary?

If it shows up on Bridger (which I think is set at 65), they've got to get me or SR Mgt to sign off on it. It just takes all the guesswork out for the offices. "There's a hit, it needs a BSA signoff" - of course, we're pretty small so I only get a few of these a week. If we got bigger, I'd be raising that percentage. I run my CI file check at 95 and still haven't gotten a real hit yet.

Mine is set at 75% ... all "hits" are emailed to me for review.

We're set at 77%. Certain kinds of hits are 'automatically' 100%, but in the main 77% and above comes to folks on my team.
