Interesting question, I wonder why people continually pull my finger when I ask them to yet they know damn well what the outcome is.

does a three-some count as polygamy, if you say "I love you" to the partners?

I'm sure I did at that moment, if you know what I mean.

That would be "I love ewe," and it was only that one time.

So, just thinking out loud here, but if say for instance, Ms B, calls out in the throws of passion "Oh God!", would that then count as a threesome and hence a polygamous relationship, and thus since the moment had become spiritual in a sense, wouldn't polygamy then be supported by the lord, therefore making it a very common and acceptable form of religion, and then making the anti polygamy sect, the so-called christians, the creepy freaky cult?

Thoughts?

oh i got it. i was being my usual self and making light of it. ...or lighting it up? something like that. i forget.

anyway, yes, i liked the question, and would be the first to jump into a philosophical discussion such as you posed, but not here.

here is more for -

Why are we here, what's life all about?
Is God really real, or is there some doubt?
Well tonight, we're going to sort it all out
For tonight it's the Meaning of Life.

Wow, you must read the edited version of the Bible. I can think of numerous palces where killing took place on God's behalf, or at his behest. And, this may be a surprise to you, not all religions believe in the God opf the Bible, much less Jesus.

Wow, you must be referring to the old testement, the books that were written before Jesus died for our sins on the cross.
Jesus was never abusive.

so the only portion of the Bible that anyone should follow is the part that includes Jesus, and just forget the rest? I must have missed that caveat in all my years of Catholic school. Glad to know that I no longer have the need to follow the Ten Commandments...llife will be much more fun now!!!

Happy, I think what was being referenced here (and this is just my opinion) is that prior to the death and resurrection of Jesus, we were under the Law but after Jesus was resurrected we became under grace. That doesn't mean that the 10 commandments don't apply but Jesus death provided us with the opportunity to have everlasting life. Prior to his death we didn't have the opportunity.

So the Ten Commandments, referenced in the Old Testament, still apply, but polygamy, also, referenced in the Old Testament, does not still apply?
