George Michael WAS a little sickly. That's why he commented that he wanted to come back some time when he wasn't sick.
I watched the Idol post show on Fox Reality last night, and David Cook is going to be an amazing star. Look out Daughtry, DC is coming for you! Seriously, he's already talked to Clive, Randy, Simon, and most of the producers about the kind of album he wants to do, and stated that the most important thing to him was to do something "of substance" that will last. He remarked that he wants to turn Idol into his chance to make his music last like the acts that we saw on the finale. (Donna Summer, ZZ Top, Aerosmith, Led Zepplin) Of course Aerosmith and Zepplin weren't on the finale, but he made his point, and while saying his hope was to create something of substance like these acts, he did so without coming off as arrogant, but humble and hopeful. His exit interview was the most intelligent, focused, honest, and showed that he knows the business and is ready to conquer it.
On the other hand, David Archuletta was star struck by seeing a girl from his high school in the audience during his post-finale chat.
