I find everyone's comments about Jason pretty funny because it seems you all are stereotyping him based on his hairdo (the stoner comments). I agree that he should be the one to go home tonight, and should have gone home a lot sooner, but the kid has done pretty well for himself to make it this far. My experience with stoners (oops, did I say I have experience with stoners?) has been that they are really not very motivated to do much but be stoners. I agree with Roberto that he seems more of a free spirit. So I give him his props, but it is time for him to go home. It's not just his hairdo. It's the fact that half the time he looks stoned.

I'm with Bones & Roberto. Things aren't always what they seem. Ever stoner would be too lazy to even try OUT for Idol. BF, nice post.  Wow.. with that post you'd think *I* were stoned. Should read: Every stoner I know would be too lazy to even try OUT for Idol.

And they got rid of Danny over that dread-lock doesn't wanna be there wanna be singer? I'm shocked. Yup, they kept the dread-locked, doesn't wanna be there SINGER over the flamboyantly gay, obnoxious, overconfident, WANNA BE singer. MICHAEL!! HA! Bones: It's one thing to want to be there but when someone starts wanting to go home it isn't fair to the other singers that wanted to be there and aren't. I'm all for a free spirit but don't waste our time if you don't want to be there and give your best. Chief: Send us a family pic! ARRRGGGGGGGG!

based upon the crowd he hangs with here at school and his family, I really don't think Castro is a stoner, he is just a goofy kid enjoying life

I'd love to see a David Cook vs. Sayesha finale, but doubt the teeny bopper vote will let down Archie.
He reminds me of a male Hannah Montana - who else would go to his concert or buy his CD??

I would also like to see those two in the finals. I just can't stand David A. anymore. Even his walk bothers me as he shuffles across the stage. And his answers to questions are pathetic. I know he is young, but even Ramielle was able to answer questions.
And BF, I couldn't agree more about Bo Bice. I was not, and am not a fan. BUT - he was awesome last night. I

And BF, I couldn't agree more about Bo Bice. I was not, and am not a fan. BUT - he was awesome last night. I His first CD kind of stunk. His new one is really good. It's far more like the southern rocker he is.

I think last night was a "win/win" situation. For those of us who would have been outraged if someone other than Jason was eliminated, it was a win. For Jason, it was also a win. He didn't seem the least bit upset, and in fact seemed quite happy with the result. Kudos to him for realizing that at this stage, he was just out of his depth.

Don't know if anyone else saw that Archie's dad was banned from rehearsals. I'm interested to see how & if it'll affect his choices & performances. My guess is that it will help Kid David to be more relaxed and more in touch with HIS choice of songs. Can't wait to see what the final three do tonight.

I think I read that they only get to choose one of the three tonight - one is chosen by the producers and the other is chosen by the judges.
