MY mom used to listen to his music, so I remember him from my childhood. Mom said, with all the "bad boys" of country music, like Merle Haggard and Johnny Cash, Eddy was a respectable man.

He did alot of Christmas songs. I still have his rendition of White Christmas on one of my collaberation CDs.

c'mon - nobody listened to radio here before the invention of the TV? even after TV, this guy was a a regular on the Porter Waggoner show in the 50's
