I have always been told to never mention that you've received a subpoena when filing a SAR - especially if you are filing one because you received a subpoena and your review found evidence of suspicious activity.

Is this your understanding also?
SAR include subpoena reference

Only if is a grand jury subpoena, NSL or other legal request that requires confidentiality. Otherwise, there is no problem with mentioning the subpoena in the SAR.
