i worked with a guy who was one of 21...my Dad and Mom both have 7 siblings, I'm one of 7 as well. Guy I work with now has 6, and adopted 4 more. One way to look at it is there is always someone to play with.
Instead of screaming about people who can support those they have, regardless of the number, maybe you should turn your ire to the welfare moms who pop out kids to get a pay increase, who suck your tax dollars with healthcare issues, and who get free housing from each of us... Yeah for Happy-I agree with him.

I'm sorry, and who was doing this? I don't think that anyone here was villifying the family for their choices. They were simply relaying information they have seen in the shows and specials, and relating personal experiences, as you just did.

I dont understand this. If you have the means, why not adopt some of the children out there that need loving homes??
I just had to edit my post because I went to the webiste and I have a few comments. Whoever said that most of the burden falls on the older children is right! These kids are not having a chance to be kids!! Checklists? What? This family seems like an assembly line to me.

Wow, I used to date a guy from there. Sounds like they have a good attitude about it, but how do you support that many kids???

I might take that back. I thought I had originally read that there was a cap on the number of childre, but now I don't see it on the IRS site. Of course I didn't take into account that at least one of the children is old enough to file taxes on their own and thus get $600 on his own instead of $300 from mom and dad!
