A consumer disputes an item on his/her credit report directly with the financial institution. During the 30 day period of investigation, the item is reported to the reporting agencies as disputed. Upon completion of the investigation, it has been determined the item is being accurately reported. Going forward, should the item continue to be reported as disputed or should that indication be removed? Thank you.

You'll have to report it as disputed.

Thanks Andy. Do we need to distinguish that the investigation is completed and the item remains disputed or is it sufficient to continue to mark the item as disputed? TY!
