I have points on my credit card for free airfare anywhere in the world. If you had 7-10 days, where would you go? I'm looking for suggestions.

I'm on the East Coast. SO far, I've been to Wales, England, Scotland, Finland, Russia, Italy, Jamaica, Ukraine, Canada (Quebec & Ontario), Mexico (Cancun, Xcaret, Chichen Itza, Tulum & Cozumel), and about 29 states. Last year, I went to Yellowstone, South Dakota and Montana. It was an awesome trip!

I don't think I can make Australia/New Zealand/China in only ten days, so with that, hit me with suggestions!

come to New Orleans, Bourbon Street is in full swing, and with teh addition of 3 new "gentlemens clubs" about to open, that will give you 1 per day to visit...

Very tempting...I've been to New Orleans though not since Katrina. Nice town! I stayed at the Bienville House in the French Quarter.

I've been thinking about:

Ireland
France/Belgium
Spain
Czech Republic/Germany
Amsterdam/Belgium
Egypt

Egypt would be cool, but since I'll be travelling alone, I thought a country with a vasatly different language/culture/alphabet might not be the best call...

Spain is a great vacation, but you could spend a month there and still not see everything you would want to see.

Costa Rica is fantastic too.

Crete is beautiful...I spent two weeks there and loved it. Athens is too crowded for me, although the Acropolis was pretty amazing.

Italy was the same way for me. I had all these plans to see Rome, Ostia, Florence, Tuscany, Naples and Venice in 10 days. I got to Rome, spent 6 nights there, 1 in Ostia, 2.5 in Florence. There's way too much to see in Rome! So someday, I need to get to Venice, Naples and Tuscany!

Spain would be nice. Spanish women are fantastic! Maybe it's because I have blnd hair and blue eyes, but I love women from Italy and Spain!

Greece/Turkey/Crete is on my list too! So many places, so little money...

Of course you could opt for the stunningly blue waters of Bora Bora....

As far as Spain is concerned, my parents went there for two weeks a few years back. They found a really neat package where they stayed in someone's villa outside Majorca.

When you go to Spain, you have to make a choice. Are you there for the absolutely stunning architecture, the artwork, the food, the beaches, etc.

You can easily spend two full days at the Prado museum of art if you like that kind of thing. It is one of the few museums that rivals Paris.

How about Sweden, Finland, Norway?
Greece would be #1 for me, or a repeat to Italy.

Iceland is gorgeous, lots of thinks to do in Rekyavik. You can swim in the natural thermal pools, too! And, only about 4 hours from Newark.

Take a cruise on the Northwestern or Time Bandit. It offers great fishing.

Alaska would be cool. I'd love to get a picture of a kodiak.

Seven to ten days is definitely too little time to do Australia and New Zealand, but whatever you do, go there sometime in your lifetime. New Zealand is absolutely the most beautiful place I've ever seen. I also liked Alaska, the Canadian Rockies and just about any major National Park in the American West.

I did Custer State Park, Mt. Rushmore, Badlands, Devil's Tower, Yellowstone, and the Grand Tetons last June. Coolest trip I've had in years!!! I think Yellowstone is one place everyone should experience. It's incredible there!!

Go to Vienna, Budapest then Prague.

Or, if you'd rather be further north, Copenhagen is beautiful this time of year as is all of Sweden.
