We have a loan with three separate structures, unconnected except that all three are constructed on the same connected slab. My understanding of the flood policy requirements for nonresidential properties is that in order to be considered eligible for a single policy, buildings must be connected and enclosed. If there is a load bearing wall, they have the option of a single or separate policies. Is this still an accurate statement?

To the best of my knowledge that has not changed.

My understanding is that if you have a true "firewall" with no connecting opening from one building to the other, you have separate buildings and have the need for separate policies.
