Way, way south.
Terrible news in the racing world over the weekend; NHRA Funny Car driver Scott Kalitta died from a crash during qualifying at Englishtown, NJ.

It was a horrible crash; May God Rest his soul, and give his family peace. He was 46 and left behind a wife and two kids.

Went off the end of the track at 300+ then into a retaining wall and crane. TERRIBLE.

There need to be some changes to that track.

Unfortunately, many reports said he lived until he got to the hospital (or at least on the way). Sux.

I don't think they know exactly what caused the fire; maybe a blower explosion?
