OCC wants my HMDA data for the last 5 years in .DAT format. I emailed the info from the FFIEC software where we input information. OCC says it's not in .DAT format and that's waht they need. Does anyone know how to change it to .DAT? I'm pulling my hair out - it's accessible through MS Access, and I can import it into Excel quite easily. OCC can't tell what they are trying to open it with....just that they need .DAT.

you need to run it like you're preparing it for submission and that should put it in .dat format
