I think the NY Jets fans and Philly Eagles fans could use some fan etiquette guidelines too. You never hear the Chiefs fans getting out of hand, in fact, not even the Raiders fans to my own knowledge. But NY Jets and Eagles fans are some crazy bunches.

But one thing I hope is never, ever required of fans, is too dispense with the nutty outfits. Ever see the Dawg Pound in Cleveland?

I think you guys have a judge in the actual stadium to deal with arrests, am I right?

Cincinnati does the same thing with the whole fan etiquette and hotline to complain about people. It doesn't do much, unless someone is REALLY drunk and obnoxious.

NY Jest fans are usually loud and obnoxious by convention, (I am a #2 Jet Fan, but no obnoxious at the games). I think that is more a NY thing in general.

The hometown Steeler fans are super pumped but relatively subdued when it comes to bad manners. I think alot like Packer fans.

As a Steeler fan, I can't argue with that.

I must be getting old, but I really don't have a problem with the Chiefs Code of Conduct. I've been to Steeler games surrounded by drunk, obnoxious, morons, who manage to use the F-word in every sentence. It's no fun trying to dodge pee while watching the game.

This certainly isn't indicative of the whole crowd, but I wish they would crack-down on the mega-drunks.

I think it's interesting that in the AFC North, the Pittsburgh fans who come to Cincinnati for games are always well behaved, and so are the Baltimore fans. The Browns fans, on the other hand, are just as obnoxious and unruly when they travel as they are in Cleveland.

I saw the Colts and Ravens play in Baltimore last season, and the row behind us was full of the foulest-mouthed, whiniest senior citizens I've run across. They constantly used the F-word and griped when my friend and I stood to cheer the Colts' good play. Of course, when you show up in Baltimore decked out in Indianapolis Colts gear, you shouldn't expect a kind reception, should you??

BF, I attended the Bengals-Titans game at Paul Brown Stadium last season wearing Colts gear. There were plenty of Titans fans there. I didn't observe Bengals fans saying anything to them. My friend and I were razzed for the entire three hours.

Cincy fans at Paul Brown tend to be VERY fair to fans from other teams when they come to town. Yes, they may razz you, particularly if you're wearing a Colt's jersey at a TITANS-BENGALS game. In other words, do you even know who's playing?

:poke:

This is ridiculous. This is a football game for goodness sake. "King Carl" Peterson is already a very unpopular figure with the fans here is KC. This will not help.

Several years ago, Coach Roy Williams took a little heat for referring to the fans at KU basketball games as the "wine and cheese crowd." This sounds like a similar issue.

Get off your arse and cheer for your team. If you do not want to stand up, stay home in front of the big screen.

Of course I knew it was a Titans-Bengals game. We were there to root for the Bengals since they were taking on one of our division rivals. Plus, the Colts had already played the prior Thursday, so there was no Colts game to watch that day. Added bonus: We got to scout one of our victims for the upcoming season!

Poke back!

You got a problem with Eagles fans???

I mean, just because the new stadium was built with a court house inside of it, doesn't mean we are a rowdy bunch!

Funny story, Bim.....During the 2006 season the Iggles visited the Colts and Joseph Addai ran all over the Philly D. The Iggles scored a touchdown to make the score 31-10 in favor of Indy. An Iggles fan in the row in front of me turned around and started talking trash to everyone. Everyone replied, "Scoreboard!"

Iggles fans are hilarous.

I agree the Philly fans are the most well-behaved league-wide. If someone gets out of line, everyone pummels him/her mercilessly. Sharp and blunt objects are rarely used, just beer and the containers they are in. And the yungunz are given a course in classic Phillyese

I know I mentioned this on here before but a favorite talk show host of mine once said.

"I truly believe that if you put a non-Philadelphia jersey on a child and gave the Philadelphia fans enough time, they would eat the child!"
