We are placing an AD in the local paper to try and sell some MFH's we took in reposession. We are not advertising anything about financing. It simply say "Bank owned manufactured homes for sale (year, make, price), call for more information."
Our compliance consultant recommended we put the equal housing lender logo on the AD, but we have nothing in the AD that triggers any kind of disclosures. Is it necessary to put it on the AD? I am just afraid that by putting it on the AD, it makes the assumption that we are offering financing of some kind & that is not the intent of the AD at all.
