Our bank is looking at doing a study of credit score distributions in the U.S. to determine if our policy minimum score is fair, and to also get an idea of where people fall these days. Does anyone know of a resource for obtaining this data?

What we're looking for is, for example: what % of scores fall in certain buckets (like 620 - 659; 659 - 710, etc.). And it would be nice to seet this broken down for each credit bureau repository.

I don't know that you can get this information for free or from anyone other than directly from the credit bureaus. Talk to your credit bureau representative and see if they make it available (most likely for a fee).

The website below provides nationwide and regional credit score data, but it shows average credit scores only (and not the entire distribution). Still interesting stuff (and they may provide detailed data for a fee as suggested by rlcarey).
