...A bank that recognizes minorities as a significant part of this country's economic infrastructure... with an appreciated simple gesture as offering checks that appeal to minorities. What a great idea! How can I get my stuffy, narrow-minded institution (UP)in the MidWest to follow suit?

I would think any person that has their account info (routing number, acct number) could go with any check printer they wanted to, so I would also assume there have been minority focus checks for quite some time, which people could purchase. I don’t think your bank has to go along with anything…even if they are “stuffy-minded”

Many vendors carry a variety of check styles that would appeal only to a specific group. They are often further back in the personal areas or interest areas of the product brochures. You will have to go past the Blue Safety and Antique check styles to get there.
