Bank plans to market a new treasury management product that involves uninsured deposits. Marketing of the product includes developing literature to provide large depositors. Can the bank include the Member FDIC logo? Must it?

Will at least a portion of the deposits be insured by the FDIC ? If so, it would seem that the logo must be used since you are advertising deposits, a portion of which is subjct to insurance. If these new products are totally uninsured then purhaps the FDIC logo should not be used.
