I've heard of a MUD (Municiple Utility District) does anyone know what a SUD would be? I'm trying to decide if a SUD would be eligible for a NOW account.

One possibility -- a School Union District? But unless you know for certain what the abbreviation stands for -- and what the depositor does, you shouldn't be making decisions about NOW account eligibility.
