Our Board asked us to look into forming a REIT. I was wondering if anyone here has any experience with these? Particularly, I am tyring to determine how to form a REIT and the pros/cons of forming one. Any input would be appreciated.

I would call an attorney who handles these on a daily basis. There are several types of REITs, each with various benifits.

The main pros are tax savings and dividend return.
