Our Bank sends Mortgage 1098's to our customers in January, are we also required to send a Mortgage statement which lists all activity on the Mortgage for the tax year? The Mortgage statement lists Escrow amount, Principal & interest payments. Is the 1098 the only Federal requirement, or are both necessary? Thanks.

There is no Federal requirement for such a statement in addition to the 1098.
