Are there any regulations governing the amount of gifts employees can receive from outside vendors, etc.?

There's a little law called the Bank Bribery Act, which you can review HERE. And your bank should have a board-adopted Ethics or Conflict of Interest policy that establishes limits on employee acceptance of gifts.

And don't forget RESPA Section 8 rules. It depends on why the employees are receiving the gift.

I'm surprised that your examiners haven't cited an exception if you don't have an existing policy in place covering gifts. You'll want to make that a priority.

We do have a policy and have not been cited. I am just making sure I am aware of all of the governing/applicable rules.
