Does anyone have a M&A and conversion compliance checklist they would be willing to share? After attending a conference earlier this summer, I became even more aware of the need for this. One of the speakers referenced a 1,700 step checklist. (Holy moly!) Business lines have conversion checklists, but I don't have one specific to compliance. I'm looking for a sample to get me and my crew started with our checklist development. Thanks in advance!

Look at the FDIC Supervisory Insights, Summer 2013 article on M&As - A Compliance Perspective. It's a good starting point. The FDIC lists Due Diligence Considerations by regulations in the article. It makes a good starting point for a risk assessment and pre-acquisition monitoring. It can be found at:
