Wanted to get an outside opinion on this. We currently have a consumer banking brocure that marketing puts together. It is in a booklet format. On the back cover we made sure we had Member FDIC and EHL logo/slogan. Inside there is a page that refers to our residential lending products. In a previous version of this brochure, it had the "doghouse" on that particular page. In the new version, it does not. If it appears on the cover, does it have to appear on the specific page? In addition, we have a page that refers to our insurance products. It has the required NDIP disclosures, does it have to say Member FDIC on this page since we already state that on the cover?

Thanks for any thoughts!

Angela,

You do not want Member FDIC on any pages that advertise your NDIP products as they are NOT insured. Doing so may cause confusion for your customers and may also result in litigation.

I forgot to mention that we name the bank on the page that refers to our insurance products. It states "Bank" can help. Through our relationship with "insurance company...." (we have an insurance affiliate). Does that make a difference?
