Can anyone tell me where in the Texas Code (or any other resources) it addresses who can be a trustee on a deed of trust? Thanks!

There is no such statute.

I don't know of any requirements. We used to list our attorney but started listing a senior lender. It seemed that any time we were doing a foreclosure, we named a substitute anyway.
