I posted this on another forum with no response.

I am trying to determine the changes needed for our platform system to support HB 3075. I understood that Texas Probate Code sections 438 and 439 would be amended to ensure that a party may authorize convenience signers on all forms of multi-party accounts. I also thought that the uniform disclosure in section 439a would be amended. However, I have not found those sections to be amended and cannot find a reference for the new form or verbiage. Any assistance in understanding this change would be appreciated. Thank you.

Thank you. I do not see anything different or an effective date of September 2009. I thought these sections would change to reflect the amendment.

I don't know why the "online" Probate Code does not reflect the amendments, but it is my understanding that the bill/act received the necessary two-thirds vote to become effective immediately (on Friday, June 19th, 2009).

So the verbiage you're looking for is actually found in HB 3075.

There's a disclaimer in bold, red letters that reads:

The statutes available on this website are current through the 80th Regular Session. Changes to the statutes enacted in the 81st Regular and First Called sessions should be verified and incorporated by January 2010.

DUH!
