I do not pay too much attention to politics (I know I should but it is hard to get into it I suppose) so I am a tad ignorant. I have seen the name a few times and her face but know nothing other than her country of origin. Could any of you give me reasons why this is something to be celebrated?

Much of it was due to the papers she wrote as an academic. She at one time suggested the federal government could offer a bank account to every American through the Federal Reserve and for the creation of an agency like the Food and Drug Administration charged with approving or rejecting new financial products, to name a few her ideas.

Ah, yeah that would certainly do it. That is a terrible thought. Thank you for a good example rlcarey. I have found a few good discussions on her over the weekend and will knock out the reading tonight. I am starting to see why people would not enjoy her thought process.
