Freddie Mac requires a student loan that is deferred to be calculated at .5% or the original balance. Does Appendix Q following those same guidelines and would it be appropriate to calculate based on Freddie's rule for a QM?

I don't know about Appendix Q, but FNMA is 1.0%, not 0.5%...

Are you selling to Freddie or want to make it eligible for sale?

So for loans not being sold and kept in house you can base student loan qualification from Freddie Mac guidelines since Appendix Q does not address them when deferred?
