If we are absorbing the cost of our document providers preparation fee for a loan transaction, are we required to disclose the fee on the LE and CD? I have been advised that we aren't required to disclose the fee but it might be wise as a cautionary measure.
If we disclose the fee but credit it back, how do we show it?

If the borrower is not going to be charged the fee, it does not have to be on the LE or CloD.
