The standard at our bank is 14 days for the Closing Cost Expiration instead of 10. We never close a loan within the first 10 days, but have had loans close between days 11 and 14. In this scenario, is it a regulatory issue that the loan closed prior to the closing cost expiration date?

How can you close a loan or even move on and issue a CD if you have not received an intent to proceed. At which time your expiration date is moot.
