Under the new TILA/RESPA Integrated Disclosures Rule, suppose the accounts listed on the credit report need to be updated and the borrower is unable to provide other documentation to validate the balances/payments of those accounts. The bank orders credit supplements to validate the information, increasing the credit report fee. Would this scenario qualify as a changed circumstance?

Possibly, depending on the amount and tolerance levels.

Hi,

I have been looking all over the place for the guidance surrounding credit supplements in reference to the above question regarding needing updates to accounts on the credit report that can be obtained by other methods. I can no longer find it anywhere. Can anyone here provide a link or point me in the right direction?

Thank you!
