Has anyone done a HMDA Risk Assessment? We do a number of RAs annually, and think we may add a RA for HMDA. Does your institution do this?

FINALLY ABOVE the gnat line
When I conduct a Compliance Risk Assessment for a client, I typically assess the risk of various regulations at the same time. You would look at policies/procedures, exam violations identified, audit findings, internal monitoring findings, changes in regulations, changes in staff, systems, etc., as well as anticipated LAR lines to determine criticality. If you only have 5 per year - not too critical - 5000 critical.

Like Walden, we do a Compliance Risk Assessment as well that takes multiple regulations into account, and HMDA is one of them. It is a pain to complete annually, but at least you get it all done at once and don't have to do 30 different RAs.
