When a HMDA reportable loan is secured by multiple single family dwellings (not multifamily structure) we are picking one SFR location to report on the LAR. My question is do you report the actual number of SFR units securing the loan or just the one SFR unit address location reporting?

RR Joker is correct. See comment 2 to 1003.4(a)(9). In the last part of that comment it states:
For aspects of the entries that do not refer to the property identified in § 1003.4(a)(9) (i.e., § 1003.4(a)(1) through (4), (7), (8), (10) through (13), (15) through (28), (31) through (38)), Financial Institution A reports the information applicable to the covered loan or application and not information that relates only to the property identified in § 1003.4(a)(9).

The number of individual dwelling units is required by 1003.4(a)(31), so clearly from this comment where I highlighted that (31) is included, we can see that it wants the total number of units for the loan, not just for the identified property.

If one of the homes on the property is site built and another is manufactured, do we report the loan as a site built or manufactured? There are several fields that would be affected by this.

You pick one of the home and consistently report it for:

1. Construction Method

2. Occupancy Type

3. Property Address

4. Property Location

5. Lien Status

6. Manufactured Home Secured Property Type

7. Manufactured Home Land Property Interest

Thank you. I was interpreting that as perhaps more than one parcel instead of just more than one structure on a single property. Makes sense though and I always appreciate your feedback!
