I got a fraudulent e-mail that purported to be from US Bank this week. It was good, the first one I have ever seen that didn't sound like it was written by Daryl and his other brother Daryl. It was good enough that I decided it might be appropriate to forward it to the bank.

As I found their web site I made a mental calculation of exactly how much time I was willing to spend trying to find an e-mail address to forward it to. They did not make it too hard, check out the lower right hand corner of their home page.

Clearly, they are making an attempt to educate their customers on phishing, etc and to monitor the tactics that are being used against them. It's the kind of step that is most valuable before it becomes a problem and I admire their actions.
