Before same-sex marriage was legal in the State of WA, we added the option of "registered domestic partner" to our consumer loan application for joint applicants. In 2014, the eligibility requirements changed and couples (both same and opposite sex) are only eligible for a registered domestic partnership if at least one of the parties is 62 years of age or older.

Should this still be an option on the application? If an applicant over the age of 62 is part of a domestic partnership, do they have to be "registered" in order for the spousal notification requirements per Reg B to apply?
