I have been asked whether there are restriction to financing of handguns and or shot guns within the State of Illinois. Is there anyone out there that is familiar with any Illinois Statute to addresses the financing of these type of items?

I am not aware of anything that would prevent you from doing this, however, to be safe you may want to ask an attorney. I did a quick search of "Finance + handgun" on the Illinois General Assembly's site and didn't find anything, but I would not hang my hat on an internet search.
