If a customer is enrolled in Estatements, and requests to change their email address down the road, would you handle that the same way as a normal address change? Currently we have the customer sign a change in address form, but would they have to physically sign anything for estatements?

Is it 5:00 on Friday yet?????

Pulling people out of the ditc...
you need to have some procedure in place to verify that the request is valid and from your customer. A signed form is an excellent way to make this happen.

Do you send them an email telling them their stmt is ready and then they have to go and get it, using a password etc? If that is all you use email for - then the risk seems minimal. If you email other bank stuff to them, then you have to consider the risk of that type of info going to an unauthorized email address.
