Yesterday, our friends at the Fed issued five new "interim final" (whatever that means) rules addressing e-disclosures under Regulations B, E, M, Z, and DD. All of these rules look similar, and all attempt to clarify the implications of the E-Sign law on e-disclosures. There is also guidance on a lot of other issues.

Here's a link to the Fed's 3/29/01 Press Release, which includes links to the five separate "interim final" rules. Effective date is today, with mandatory compliance as of 10/1/2001. Comments are requested by the Fed on several issues.
