I just got asked about P3P and pretty much at a loss on this issue. It is my understanding that if your online banking doesn't comply with P3P, users may not be able to use it. P3P is a new wrinkle for me. Any enlightenment on what financial institutions may be doing would be helpful.

Here is P3P info. I haven't heard of any requirements at this point for implementation. This has been in the works for quite some time, but I haven't studied it.

Thank you. Yes, I remember the buzz about P3P several years ago, but had not heard anything recently until I was questioned by our online banking folks. I'm unsure what has triggered the question, but will find out.
