We are looking at offering the "push" e-statements when we finally move to imaging in the 1st quarter of 2008. It sounds like the customer will set up a password to access their statement once it is delivered via email. If anyone is offering this product, I would like to hear what your thoughts are on it. Thanks!

We use the push method and, yes, customers establish a password to access their statements. Most of the internal controls are managed through our vendor's software; be sure to check with your vendor as to how you will manage: establishing passwords, documenting demonstrable consent, and handling returned emails.
