How do you handle RDC exceptions?
We monitor Advanced Edits next day via reportings however we are trying to implement a "live" monitoring where all edits will be pending in "Exception bucket". My question is: what is your process? do you return the batch to the customer do make corrections or do you make the changes if needed and process the file? What is the risk if the bank makes corrections to the microline?

Thanks

We let the customer make the correction because that is the main purpose for the customers using RDC. We rarely have any and we get a notice when it happens.

I totally agree; they should be making their own corrections which they currently do. However, we are trying to minimize the risk and trying to reduce the returns by preventing any incorrect edits to go thru.

Thanks for your response
