trolling for the big one
Is it a requirement to make the Office of Financial & Insurance Regulation Financial Institution Complaint Form (FIS 1010 revised 5/11) available to customers in the bank's branches? We have this on our branch audit checklist, but I am not sure whether this is a requirement or best practice.

We do not have it and I've never heard of such a requirement. State examiners have never mentioned it either.

I took a while, but I finally identified where this requirement is located. It is in the MI DIFS Administrative Rules for Financial Institutions.
