Does anyone know if you are able to use the PC598 Affidavit of Decedent’s Successor for Delivery of Certain Assets Owned by Decedent to negotiate a deceased customers checks?

We have accepted that form from existing customers wishing to negotiate a check; we request the specific details of the check be listed on the form. I can't quote any rule that says whether or not it is allowed.
