Has anyone made big changes to their benefits in recent years such as offering more time off versus a raise? It was mentioned in an internal meeting recently that it seems "millenials" are more interested in more vacation, sick days, flexible hours, etc. than a salary increase. I just wondered if anyone had experienced this and what type changes you've made.

We have not. I would ask if HR did a survey with competition and/or other industries. If vacation and or sick days have no cash value (meaning if you leave, you are not paid for it), then it is not costing your employer anything to give you more. Sounds like they are being cheap.

As a millennial, I completely disagree with this assumption.
