Our bank owns 1/3 of a mortgage company. We are preparing marketing material for the mortgage company that does indicate on the material that it is an affiliate of our bank. In brochures and ads that are specific to the mortgage company do we need to put "MEMBER FDIC" on the material???

The regs specifically exempt ads relating to loans so as long as you're not promoting any deposit products in the ad, you should leave it off.
